Because our garments are handmade, slight differences in finish, pattern positioning, or tone may occur from piece to piece. These distinctions are a natural result of the making process and add to the individuality of each design.

Visuals are captured with professional equipment. However, appearance may differ across devices and screens. We aim for the closest possible representation, but minor shifts in shade or detail can occur.

If your size isn’t available or if you’d like to request a size we currently don’t offer, let us know. We create in small batches and can often produce a piece specially for you depending on fabric availability. Submit your request, and we’ll get back to you with timelines.

Wash cold, handwash whenever possible with mild gentle washing agent that are safe on the fabric and on the skin. Use delicate cycle if machine washing. Hang to dry, avoid wringing.

At Authoress, pieces are made in small, limited batches. Because of this, orders typically ship within 5 to 10 working days. Once your order is with the courier, delivery timing is out of our hands.
